Pre- corona plan:
For the month of April, Smoothe will be celebrating Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) with posts about the founders of jazz from the U.S., as well as abroad. “Invited” artists include Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Dexter Gordon, and . . . well, you get the picture – a virtual “who’s who” of the jazz realm. The fun starts on April 1st, 2020. and posts will be made from Monday through Friday, and perhaps a post or two on Saturdays for good measure.
Signing off for now with a public service announcement: This will be just jazz – “Straight, No Chaser”!! See you there!

I can’t concentrate on the jazz that I love, so SMOOTHE will be on an indefinite hiatus, until after this thing blows over. Stay healthy and I will meet you back here at some point. If not – it’s been a pleasure.
