I’m kickstarting your week with an olio of my favorite tunes, hoping all the while that they will rub off on you. Like I always say “Jazz, jazz, and nothing but jazz”. Then, I backtrack and give you more options. You’ve got jazz choices, jazz(y) choices, chillout options, and mixes of every sort. Take your pick. Starting this week, I’m going to try something a bit different and see how it works out. Each week, from Tuesday through Friday, I’ll post “Essentials”, “Spotlight”, “Trios”, or perhaps some “Live”. That means a week of “EssentIals”, a week of “”Spotlights”, etc. Not sure whether I’ll maintain that schedule, but I’ll give it a try and take it from there. This week will be a week of “Spotlights”.
