Welcome to the Weekend Mix! This week we’re going Scandinavian style. If you haven’t been a fan thus far, perhaps this will be the day that gets you on board. I created this from a longer playlist that had all my favorites and a LOT more: seventy hours of pure Scandinavian jazz! Not to worry – I didn’t go quite that far. This one is only about four and a half hours. Afterwards, I returned to The Tord Gustavsen Trio’s recording Changing Places, and added a few more of my favorites. The weekend is here. If you haven’t popped open that bottle of red, do so now and be prepared to be soothed by some of the best Scandinavian jazz.
