There are songs that I just can’t help but play over and over. Here’s the latest list. Yes – it’s ever-changing, morphing, trying to hide from that “play” button. How was your Monday? Mine was hectic but fun. The traffic wasn’t as overwhelming as it usually is. Here’s a PSA – Being retired doesn’t mean that you just sit back in that easy chair and watch life go by. Don’t get me wrong – I do that as often as time permits. But, I’ve always got somewhere to be, someone to see, in between the times that I’m just trying to be me. Then, there’s music! Can life be more fun than this??!! I think not.
Euge Groove is back again, with Last Call. Gary B, and Von Mondo return, giving us a taste of scat – again. I couldn’t be true to myself had I not brought back Marga Sol with Black Coffee, Mogambo Affair with Adoro, and Darius X with Serenity. Of course, there are a few newcomers like Alec Taylor Trio (Skyline), Capricorn (Moody Café), and Gabin (Midnight Caffé). Well, they say that confession is good for the soul – I have been playing Moody Café, ad infinitum, for the past week!! This is me not being embarrassed. Not in the least. Anyway, look over there on your left. No – your other left! It’s a willing and able “play” button, waiting for your magical touch. Have fun.
