This move finds me with a bona fide craving for some REAL CHILL!! So, here’s a mini playlist that I’m certain that you can relate to. But first a few accolades for all of those who stood out in this sea of new music. “Brooklyn Rain” by Silje Nergaard and Hakon Kornstad. Got a genuine Jazz Flash from that one!! Shot me right back to Summer of 1970! Yes – it has already made my “On Repeat” playlist. I’ve always had a soft spot for Euphonic Traveller (this time with Danoir), so “Smalltown Boy” struck a chord. Needless to say, I was impressed by the “soft side” of Van Morrison on “Down To Joy”. I almost forgot to mention Michael Lington with “Goodbye”, definitely a winner. Saw him live one Summer and when I say the man loves his audience – well, I guess you’d have to experience it to believe it. Pure energy! Last, but by no means least, Darius X showed up with “I Know”. On any given day, I’m generally listening to something of the instrumental persuasion, but while perusing the original, longer list, quite a few voices stood out. Laters, gang!! “Play button” – you know what to do!! Enjoy!

Jazz, jazz, and nothing but jazz. Or “jazz-adjacent”, as it were.
