This selection of music was originally created to exemplify the time of day via song titles. It evolved into a wider range of ideas – time, travel, speed (or the lack thereof), and a few other “non-distinct” ideas. As usual, these songs are derived from selections of music that are, more often than not, a part of my ever-changing sense of what ends up as “in rotation”.
Sooo . . . who showed up? Midstream, Mirage of Deep started off the “travel slot” with . . . “Travelling”. Along came Cindy Bradley with “Stockholm Summer”, Fenomenon with “Sleepy Meadows of Buxton”, Nighthawks with “Norways”, Mo’jardo with “Coffee in Seoul”, and Mo’jardo, with the help of Tim Gelo, closes out the travel segment with “Berlin Sky” (yet another song that I have probably played a hundred times or more!).
From “First Call” (Les Trois Copines) to “Lazy Jazz” (Johannes Huppertz), each song expresses its very own description of the time of day, that being the early hours. “The Sun Goes Down” with Marc Hartman and continues to “Evening Sun” by Dynamic Music. “Moonlight In Vermont” (Enrico Rava) sets the late hours into motion, and Euge Groove closes the set out with “Last Call”.
Hit play and enjoy.

Jazz, jazz, and nothing but jazz. Well, there is “jazz-adjacent”.
